Hi I have just noticed your post. My fathers father my paternal grandfather was from the Isle of Man. Unfortunately I never met him as my fathers parents were divorced when my father was little. However he used to speak about his childhood visits to the Isle of Mann and his connection to the Lacy family whom it seems from memory may have owned guest houses. My grandfathers name was Harry Pearson though and I am told by my step aunties that they owned butchers?. I certainly remember my Dad mentioning the Lacy family and wondered did you ever find any information regarding them as I would love to know that side of my family. Many Thanks June Harnick
