Free Y-DNA tests - Condra, Quayle and Joughin

I have funding within the Manx Y-DNA study now to pay for three free Y-37 DNA tests for men of Manx descent belonging to each of these families - Condra, Quayle and Joughin, where additional testing is still required.

These test kits are available on a first come/first served basis. In order to qualify for this free test I will need to know a little about the early male line ancestry of the candidate, in order to ensure that they are not closely related to the men already tested from these families.

If you are interested and have a candidate in mind, or have any questions, then please contact me either by email direct to creer at one-name.org or via the study website www.manxdna.co.uk

We also have a puzzle to solve with the Y-DNA of the Cannell family and so if anyone knows of a Manx Cannell man who might be interested in taking part then I would like to hear from him.

Real progress is being made in the Manx Y-DNA study with many new and previously unknown early family connections being discovered. So this is a chance to for everyone to contribute to this work.

Many thanks in advance for any help, Please tell your friends and relatives!!
