The James b 1728 was the son of James (1700-1770), md Ellinor Christian 1723. James Sr. was the son of another James (ca 1670-1719) who's wife was Margaret Skillicorn. So it would be the 1700-70 James in the 1726 deed. I believe these are the only James Scarff's around at the time.
