Nicholas Kewley and John Kelly German 1700s

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Frances in the Manx Museum Library, and she was extremely helpful with my searches. She suggested I look at a House Deed, which I did. To my horror I found that Eleanor Kelly, 1853 Ballig house, gave her maiden name as Kelly. Inside I was screaming NO,You were a Kewley before you were married! Obviously I'd been on the wrong track for years. As I was in the Library I managed to find her correct line. She was daughter of John Kelly who had married Eleanor Kewley, daughter of Nicholas Kewley. His forebears were Nicholas Kewley to mid 1600s, and I was able to copy their wills. Just wondered if anyone else is researching this line, and where did they live in German?
