On the IGI there is a User Submitted Genealogy stating that James Clark's father Ewan (or Hugh) was a twin , so looked for births and found

Hugh and William , christened March 21, 1791 to James and Jane Corlett in Lezayre.

On the US 1850 Census , there are two James Clarks in Marion County

One aged 22 , born England with the Coffee family , wrong age.

One aged 28 , born Alabama with the Craft family , age correct and he is a Tanner !!!
