Hi-

I'm wondering if there were any records kept on those folks that left the Isle Of Man to come to America.

I know that my 3X great grandfather came to the US from IOM in about 1938 (he was born in 1822 and supposedly came to the US when he was 16). Between the time he came here and when he met and married my 3X great grandmother in 1852, we have no info on him, except for a report from 3X great grandmother that he came through New York when he was 16.

No ship name, no arrival date- nothing.

His name was James Christian Clark, and from when I can see, he always used all three names, but it does not help me in finding him in any passenger list. So I was hoping to find out if any of that info is tracked on the IOM side.
