as he did not appear to have family in Marown it is possible he was buried in his wife's grave (judging by marriage she was on that parish) - as there are no records extant for 1785 burials it is possible she died in that year 9possibly a late childbirth ?)

It maybe the case that the Bishop's transcipts cover that year (depends on why no register survives) the vicar at time was Thomas Christian but he was a drunkard + worse by 1790 so possibly no records were taken
