I'm just starting to research the Moore side of my family and wondered if anyone had any information already which I could use. My great grandmother, Annie Moore, lived with her eight sisters and one brother at Lhergydhoo, Peel. Her father was John Moore who married Sarah, his siblings were Elizabeth, William, Margaret, Thomas and Ann. His parents are John Moore (1825) who married Jane Kneale. John Moore is living with a Catherine Moore (aged 40) in the 1841 census who I can assume is his mother. I haven't found any earlier information yet, unfortunately 'John Moore' is a very popular name... working on it but thought I'd ask here! Thank you in advance, Katie.
