John Edward may well have emigrated. There were however 2 John Edwards. One was born in 1881 (son of Philip H and Margaret) - the one I'm looking to find. And one was born in 1883 son of Wm Ed Corris and Mary Ann Faragher. I think it's this second one who went to Michigan in 1906 and died there in 1908.
Your notes say John Edward emigrated at age 22, so in 1903?
