find the Kinley dates very difficult to accept - look at the distribution + number of wills - very strongly biased to santan in 17th + early 18th C (and only about 30% of the Corkills who seemed most prevalent around Maughold in early centuries - have you traced back the supplied family trees to see if there are any much later progenitors - would be nice to see some timeline of the rate of genetic mutation and whether this is consistent with likely trees.
Note I'm not denying the Scandinavian link - would be good to how this links with the 'out isles' from which it is thought the Norse link came via - but also what part of Scandinavia - eg the Balladoole burial was determined at likely to be a male from southern Sweden rather than today's Norway.
