Re: James Oliver Caine

Hi there,

Hope this might help shed some light on James Oliver Caine's patent. I did a few searches and found the patent awarded to James Oliver Caine. In it, his address is given as 7 Thornton Avenue, Douglas. The patent was applied for in May, 1938 and issued on February 14, 1939. Original document: GB500675 (A) ― 1939-02-14. If you search by his full name and the word patent it gives you choices for results. Pick the one for a site called "espacenet" and then you should be able to see all the details. The patent's title is "Improvements in or relating to grass boxes for lawn mowers".

A most interesting device.
