cup

I have a cup that looks to me like it originates from the isle of man. on the base is a sticker with the name C. Wallace. Jeweller, 29 Victoria St. Douglas, Isle of Man.

The cup does not have a name on it, but around tha base are some plaques attached with the winners of the cup, they are as follows.

1930 N. Beaver. Beda.

1931 N. Beaver.

1934 R.W. Callin.

1935 R.W.Callin. Ben.

1937 N. Beever. Lad.

as you will see Beaver has been spelt in two ways but could be the same person. Could the names Beda, Be, and Lad be their dogs. I am interested to know the history of this cup. If anyone has any ideas I would be very happy to hear from you. Ian Thomson. Isle of Wight
