I am trying to find more information concerning my ancestors Thomas Kermode and his wife Catherine Kermode I presume they were distant cousins). They married in Lonan 15 Jun 1820 and one of their sons, William, is my Kermode ancestor who migrated to Ballarat in 1859.
I have Thomas’s bapt date 10 Dec 1787 (Manx notebook), but do not have Catherine’s bapt date and therefore no information to her parents names. From the 1851 census (she is now remarried as Catherine Fargher) her birth year is abt 1796, so just outside the records in the Manx notebook and not in the IGI records. Can anyone help with who might be the parents of Catherine and Thomas and perhaps grandparents also ?
