Re: John McDonald, did he go on to marry Eleanor Watterson who were the parents of Anne (& others) who married Thomas Curphey in 1763, Rushen? Not sure when she died as there are a few Ann Curpheys. Thomas's will, dated May 24, 1809 (I presume wife dec'd) left goods to sons Wm., Thomas, dghtr Catherine, granddghtr Margaret Curphey, granddghtr Margaret Christian (so a dghtr must have married a Christian) Mark Nixon?(can't make out name), John Harrison, John Kieg who was a son-in-law (don't know who he married). Their son William Curphey marr. Elizabeth Shimmin, b act 1803 (my line) (par. William Shimmin/Eliz. Kelly. Any info greatly appreciated. Una
