Once again thank you for your interest. You have given me 2 new children I had not found so that is great. To be honest I have not visited the Costains for some time, so this will give me a nudge to look more. Like most people I have been fortunate to trace so many family branches for both myself and my husband and I find I get hooked on one name, then that leads you further away!! I have one line back to 1200's, so that gives so many names to trace!
Owen William was born in N Wales and went to Canada in 1871, presumably leaving Jane pregnant with her Mother. Jane did not follow till 1880! They lived in LLanberis, Wales for the 1871 census where they had a daughter, Margaret. They had 2 daughters once Jane reached Canada and another son. One of these daughters was my husband's grandmother.
