Cleators of East Sartfield

I've hit a brick wall trying to find out about the parentage of my GGG Grandfather, William Cleator. From the census I know he was born abt 1808 in Jurby. In 1861 he was at East Sartfield, and his daughter, my GG Grandmother Ann, married John Cowley of West Sartfield. Before being at Sartfield he was farming in Ballaugh at least as far back as 1841.

I can't find a definitive christening for him. The nearest is in 1810 to Thomas Cleator and Mary Teare. In 1841 and 1851 though, East Sartfield is being farmed by John and Margaret. His first children were named after him, his wife and her parents, and the next to are John and Margaret so this would seem to fit, but I can't find that they had a son christened William and there doesn't seem to be a gap in the sequence of their children in the Jurby records.

Does anyone know the history of the Cleators or East Sartfield? I understand from a cousin in Andreas that there are still Cleators at East Sartfield but he knows nothing of the history of them.
