I am still looking for John Pearson's death. So far, he doesn't appear to be buried with Margaret. With Margaret dying in 1848, John may have remarried. In the Quebec land grants, his son John (or John Thomas) receives 100 acres in Buckingham in 1834 and John Sr receives 200 acres. However, in 1852, there is a John Pearson Sr getting 200 acres in Lochaber, Ottawa, Quebec while the son got 100 acres in Templeton, Ottawa in 1861,68 and 72.
