Hello Researchers,

I have been reviewing the 1511 Manorial Rolls for Bride and Andreas. My ancestor Paton Goldesmyth was in the possession of "1 tenement and the 4th part of 1 quarter of land" and "1 tenement and 3 parts of 1 quarter of land" at the Treen of Glendowne (Ballagarrett). Could anyone explain to me these land descriptions in easy to understand terms to me. Also was does the term "demised to me" mean?
