Last time I was in or (on) the Isle of Man was 1962, we stayed at a farm in Kirk Michael, we flew there from Blackpool £3.6s.0d that was including coach from Walkden. It was a big farmhouse just off the main road near the village, the farmer and his wife lived next door. They seemed to be quite wealthy had a lot of land and cows, I think they were called Callon, not sure they charged us £6 for two weeks. The time before that was 1945 just after the war finished. Should think it would have changed since then.
