Thanks Frances - I would love to see that painting of Grenaby Mill. Wm Quayle inherited the land from a Jane Halsall nee Caveen nee Shimmin (listed in the 1841 Tithe records) - I don't know why she left it to him and there was a court case in 1847 about land she owned in Ballaglonnay, Arbory too.
