Re: What do the people of IOM look like?

Dear Lisa,
I have not been on the board in quite some time, death is not easy to take, but I shall state what does an Isle of Man or MANX PERSON look like, for many that could be many things, but in our family line, I am gray, grayed very early, as my sisters, thick head of hair, double thick, green eyes, and I am tall, was born with blonde hair, and a sister was born blue eyed, blonde, and my brother green eyes and blonde hair. but my other brother had cold, jet black curly hair and green eyes, my daughter was born with red hair and had green eyes, porcelan skin, and is 5,11, big boned, my son was born with blonde hair and blue eyes, AND IS 6'2, my new grandson was born 10 MONTHS ago with blue eyes and red hair, and my daughter-in-law is LEBANESE-ITALIAN, SO YOU SEE THE CAIN/E GENES SEEM TO WIN OUT EVERY TIME, BECAUSE BROWN EYES ARE SUPPOSE TO BE THE DOMINANT GENE, BUT HAS NOT WORKED THAT WAY IN ME, MY CHILDREN OR GRANDCHILD, my husband is SICILIAN,neither of my children took the the SICLIAN SIDE, of coloring, dark eyes and dark skin, brown eyes.My grandmother CAIN/E was redhaired and had blue eyes, and porcelan skin also and tall, and she grayed very early, hair to her waist, as I have, with thick gray hair, my great grandfather CAIN/e, was tall, red haired and blue eyed, The tallness I do believe would be NORSE roots, and DNA OF VIKING has been proven, I have not made it to the ISLE yet and have been coming now for six, years, but many maladies have kept me away, LEICESTER in 2006, mother fell in the BED AND BREAKFAST she is now passed away, now we have been in mourning. So do not know IF I SHALL EVER GET THERE. EARLY GRAY hair seems to to be attribute of CELTIC AND IRISH DESCENDANTS. MANX, have long life lines, my great great grandmother CAIN/e lived to be 100, and my grandmother CAIN/e 92, WE HAVE LONG LINES on the CAIN/E SIDE. I have seen many different pictures of all MANX and they have multiple skin colours and hair types, surely with many wars and many peoples coming and going for centuries, what does a MANX look like, I would suppose who ever created him or her, with ENGLISH coming to the ISLE, with ROMAN genes, and VIKINGS, and NORSEMEN, and sailors from many shores, a MANX COULD BE GENETICALLY MANY things, but with DNA testing now you can pretty well know your genetic line of where you came from. FOR ME AND MY LINE, CAIN/eS, my line was red haired, fair, beautiful and handsome, tall men and women, who grayed early, WITH LONG LIFE LINES. They also have a wicked temper.

Kindly yours,

Mrs. Rosa
