Re: LDS Family Search
In Response To: Re: LDS Family Search ()

Hello Frances, I still can't find a gedcom on New IGI - but have found the batch numbers,

an illeg c/o Patricke Kewley + Margrett Bell - Issable bapt 18 Apr 1669

a search by Batch Number on Hugh Wallis website - for – Issable Bell batch, C038091
ht tp://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~hughwallis/IGIBatchNumbers/CountyIsle_Of_Man.htm#PageTitle
close gap ht tp

it transfers to FamilySearch.org. - The batch numbers on this site belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
a Surname only search – still brings up all entries for BELL.
and has,

Issable Bell
England, Births and Christenings, 1538-1975
christening:18 Apr 1669 MALEW, ISLE OF MAN, ENGLAND
parents: Patricke Kewley, Margrett Bell

a search for birth – Issable - 1668 – 1670 - (on New IGI ) Isle of Man, Parish Registers, 1598-1950
Brings up 20 entries,

Issable Kewley
christening: 18 Apr 1669 Malew, Isle of Man
parents: Patrick Kewley, Margt Bell

I am guessing that when all digital numbers are added – you will be able to view the Parish Register entry - and see it marked illegitimate.
