Hi Sue! Many thanks for you quick reply! Sorry about the heading! not so good at this computer stuff! I am trying to trace my Grandmother, Elizabeth Clark who gave my Mother up for adoption (paid 50 pounds to her adoptive parents) in 1923 in Doncaster. I believe that she came from the Isle of Man, stayed with family in Doncaster whilst pregnant and during the adoption and then vanished? (Returned to the Island?) I believe that she was about 19 years old making her date of birth around 1904.
