Now I have more info than I can handle as I'm away for a couple of days at the end of today. That is not to say you should stop sending it. What I need most right now is to confirm that John Gick's (1813 ) was Fathered by Archibald 1765. I do not have the original Marriage Certificate of John Gick and Emma Ball but agree that maybe if it lists Father's occupation as Tailor that would be a good match with Archibald 1765. What I have from IGI ( familysearch ) are 4 records of the marriage. Basically all the same except the system origin is different on three, the Indexing project ( Batch ) Number is different on three/and the Source film number is different on two. Which is right and could you remind me again how to order a certificate? I'm also still fuzzy on where you found the 1813 christening of John Gick 1813 and whether or not it listed Archibald Gick And Elizabeth as the parents or if you just guessed this?. Forgive my newness at this but I'm getting there. Michael
