You folks are quite incredible in finding stuff. Now I did have the Archibald Gick-Elizabeth Yates union and their children but I did not find the John Gick christened 1813. Where did you find that? and does it list the parents as above, I read that it does. I was thinking that maybe the son Archibald,born 1799, to Archibald and Elizabeth was possibly John's father. I do have the Archibald b Oct 20,1765 to John Gick and Joney Mcdaniel as likely being Archibald's Father since as you put it he is the only likely one ( mainly because there are so few Archibald Gick's ) I like the extra touch of Archibald's sisters. My big question is how do I prove more definitively that this is the right tree. Are there any documents amidst the info you relate that I could order and get more info from them by so doing? Your help has been invaluable and if right leads me to where I thought I was going that being the IOM. I'll be there for a few days at the end of May. Michael
