I am not sure of the chronology of Ernest and Norah's time in the IOM, but Mum and Dad married in Manchester I think just after the war and Barbara was at their wedding.

I believe their brother Brian died in Burma - as it was then - during the conflict there.

How did you know Barbara. Did she come back to the island or did she leave and you had some contact with her later?

I talked to Barbara just before Christmas as she had invited Mum and Dad to England for Christmas but that fell through due to her son Robin's illness.
