Hello everybody! I'm looking to resolve something of a family mystery, and was therefore wondering if it is possible to access coroners' records from the 1800s? I'm trying to establish the cause of death of Catherine Cain (née Shimmin) from St Johns (born 26.03.1826 in Patrick, I believe - and died 18.04.1866) who was buried 22.04.1866 in the parish of German, on the same day as her husband, John James Cain, who took his own life. In fact, any information on this line would be gratefully received and much appreciated as I keep drawing blanks! Many thanks! Natalie :)
