Dear Frances,

Thanks so much and so late into the evening! I see that you are a regular contributor. Sorry, I am new at serious genealogy, so If you have time could you just clarify your thoughts a bit more by verifying:

1. Research John kewin + eliz clucas? as parents for thomas
2. When you refer to parish, which one? Am I reading the above incorrectly and it is Clucas Parish?
3. Thomas of Malew (you believe) is incorrect but I do not understand the explanation exactly.
4. Cath may be the daughter of Sliv Fargher but I do not understand the further references, "(bur st Marks 1825) + Eleanor fargher (?bur 1835) cath bapt Stm 17770709 eleanor d/o Thomas (ballacrook) mentioned in his will 1776," or how to look up the citations

Again, I am most appreciative. I did visit the Isle of Man when in 1969 when was a mere 16 and on my own thinking I could sort out our IOM family. I did not get anywhere. I just enjoyed the trip and the beautiful landscape. My father travelled in the 80's and did better. Many years have passed and I am starting again and posting to the WIKITree site and since it is public, I want to be accurate.

best regards
