Thanks Eric; that was one of the two I got from the Free BMD, but obviously not the one I was looking for, but now eliminates this route. I was so hopeful when the parents George Rupert Jenkinson and "Marian" Kermode indicated their marriage so precisely on the birth register of their son in 1912. I have a George Rupert Jenkinson from "both" ends; a/his birth in Yorkshire and various census records as well the Canada end (births, deaths of some of his children) but was looking for the connecting piece, the marriage. Can't find it in the Ontario marriage registry, so will have to try a different routing; I considered him having married in England then re-marrying in Canada, but the fact that the marriage was given indicated both parties, it seemed unlikely.
