Thank you to both Sue and Avril for restarting my interest in trying to help solve the mystery of which William Looney married Dorothy Joughin.It was pleasing to obtain all their childrens names as I only had four. However I still cannot work out who his parents are so I cant go further back. A pity that there is no middle name as there are several William Looneys that could fit the dates. After looking at other threads I got into the new family search site containing the Parish Registers and I think that this could be a helpful site for many.
