The difference in the dates is probably explained this way. Until about 1730 (don't remember the exact cutoff) the year went from march to feb. So she could have died in May and he marr in Feb. In our calendar she died May 1722 and he marr in Feb 1723. It is early here in America and my brain is half asleep, but it has to do with the 2 different calendars. I was confused for a long time until I learned about the 2 calendars and when the english converted to the calendar we use today.
