There are a number of stone masons from the Crowe family in Michael. Many houses in Michael and Ramsey were built by George Daniel Crowe and his son George Henry Crowe. I have spoken today to a daughter of George Henry and she referred to Auntie Fanny who was married to `Big Bob` Faragher of Clematis cottage. I assume that `the bridge` in Ramsey refers to the pub of that name (now built into flats) I have no knowledge of ownership of property at that time. When you come to the IoM.
