if you do a search on MNB then SCRONDYL is mentioned in the will of Robert Brew - 1832. It also mentions Ballaugh Brewery.
I can't see it mentioned on the 1874 or latest Ordnance survey maps.
As a river runs through Ballaugh (Glen Dhoo) then I would guess it was somewhere on that.
Probably water was required for both the brewery and the mill.
