Welcome to our world. I am also trying to track down David Wright. I am a descendant of one of his sons who came out to Australia.
I have joined ScotlandPeople and paid to do a search on old David. Unfortunately there are 10 David Wrights born in Scotland during 1813 to 1814. Without having a county to go on - I am really just guessing. This of course, doesnt even take into consideration we may all have his date wrong (as Ive been told sometimes they rounded their birthday's up or down to the nearest 5).
