Looking at Daniels children he may have many decendents all over the world. I was born in South Africa and moved to Loanhead near Edinburgh 9 years ago. My father's family is all from Scotalnd which is reasonable easy to follow up, but my mother's was another story as South African birth certs can take 6 months to get. Do you have any details of where Daniel was born in Ireland? I am fasinated about the Isle of man links as my grandmother,Hilda Gillmore Shooter ( Magaret's granddaughter) never mentioned Isle of Man. She did say that their that she had Irish blood, and her mother Katherine Mary Cahill also appraintly from an army family were originally from Ireland.
