QUALTROUGH research

A message to all those interested in the QUALTROUGH family.

It is now 7 years since I "retired" from active Qualtrough genealogical research and in light of this and the fact I am preparing to return to Australia to live later in 2011, earlier this year I handed over to John K Qualtrough of Port St Mary, Isle of Man all my files, lists, papers etc and my computer with the main Qualtrough database containing almost 20,000 names.

John is now the main research contact person for this family and he can be contacted at

john at qualtrough . org (adjust accordingly.)

The Qualtrough website is still online of course @ www.qualtrough.org and the webmaster is Malcolm Qualtrough of Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. He can be contacted at malcolm at qualtrough . org (adjust accordingly)

The Qualtrough Genealogies subsite with thousands of updates of Qualtrough and allied names from the original book edition of 1984 (which is online @ the above site) is still online also through the above link and click on "Qualtrough Genealogies". While this site has not been updated since July 2004 (and I have no intention of updating it further) it is still a worthwhile resource. However because of data protection, some pages are username and password protected ...these details are available to genuine Qualtrough researchers and other genealogists only on the condition they are not handed on to anyone else with out permission. I am still responsible for the data protection as long as I maintain the site online. Please contact John above for the username and password.

Wishing everyone well in their research.
