Manx Genealogy

Florence Margaret Lascelles, Maughold

I have been researching Florence Margargaret LASCELLES nee WOOD (b.1878 Carlisle, Cumberland) author of the following pamphlet:
'A Short Account of Kirk Maughold in the Diocese of Sodor and Man'
F.M.Lascelles, 1935

She was married to Rowley William LASCELLES (b.1869 Alverstoke, Gosport, Hampshire / d. 14 October 1928 at Cottage Hospital, Ramsey. Resident of Baldromma-Beg, Maughold, Isle of Man).

It would seem from my research that Rowley and Florence Lascelles arrived on the Isle of Man sometime after May, 1920 upon their return from a few years spent in Canada. She may have died in the 1950's. Can anyone possibly tell me if they are buried on the island, their occupations or reasons for residing in Maughold.

Florence Margaret Lascelles had two brothers:
Lindsay Ingleby WOOD (b.1872 Keswick, Cumberland / d. 1906 Edinburgh), architect and author of
'Vanishing Edinburgh and Leith', 1902
'Scottish Pewterware and Pewterers', 1904.

John Crewe WOOD (b.1873 Kensinton, London / d. 1955 Lelant, Cornwall), solicitor and councilor of Swindon, Wiltshire. He was also the inventor of saftey glass which was later marketed as TRIPLEX.

Any information would be appreciated.

Thank you.
