My 4th Great Grandfather Daniel McGlashen (born 1773) came from Strachur in Argyll, Scotland to the Isle of Man. I have identified many of his descendants, and have linked the majority of the McGlashens detailed in Lawsons Burials as being members of my family, so much so that I believe that all the McGlashens on the Isle of Man are descendants of Daniel. Does anyone know if I am correct in my thinking, or are there other McGlashen families in the Isle of Man?
