Thank you, Donna, I'm sure John Robinson's research is excellent. Does he have Taubmans in his tree? I'm curious to know what his interest is.
The only reason I asked where your very helpful information came from is that I've been trying to get source references (registry numbers etc) wherever possible just to reassure myself that my tree is accurate.
There are some websites where details seem to be passed around public trees without any source reference and these have left me barking up completely the wrong "tree"!
