This post has nothing to do with the actual enquiry, but your reply made me smile and remember some years ago when my brother and I were in the I.o.M. and had just visited St Pauls, Foxdale in search of CORRINS.
We then proceeded, kind-of-West across the Island towards Patrick Church (where our GtGrandparents had been married) and I don't know what road we were on, but it got smaller and rougher as we went along and we finally ran out of road altogether, just as we reached the Churchyard.
We stumbled and tripped our way through the old yard, looking for ancestors and it was a great ending to a lovely day. Thankyou for reminding me!
