Not sure that I didn't celebrate too soon.
On checking Family Search (which I'd completely forgotten before- how could I?) Cath Elinor Bridson has parents Arthur Bridson and Esther CORRIN. Could be an error for Craine but will need further checking. Frances does this tie in with your findings, please?
Also not certain about parents as Family Search has Arthur Bridson's birth as around 1774 linked to his marriage to Esther Craine in 1799.
The gravestone for John and Catherine Bridson (510 flat) has Arthur died 20 feby 1824 aged 75 which would take his birth to 1749. Quite a discrepancy. The dates for Esther almost tie in as I have her birth 16 Feb 1777. Death of the Esther on the gravestone is 11 June 1849 aged 73 - only a year out which is not uncommon.
Any further thoughts from anyone?
