James Kewley was born in Kirk German in 1802, probably at one of the farms across from Greeba, like Cooilsleau and Eary Lhane. I think there were also Kewleys at Cooilingel at that time, which I think is on the road from Greeba to Douglas. One of the descendants lost the farm some years later. I don't know when Kewleys first came to those farms.
