We have a Colonel Cross who came to Ireland in ESSEX's army in 1599. Originally from Lancashire possibly Crosse of Crosse Hall. Lots of gaps to fill in. Some evidence indicates a Manx origin for Cross' of Crosshaven, Cork. Lorraine
