Thanks Sue, I got onto the free Ancestry last night and found out a lot about Sarah Lynchey, one of the Manx prisoners. I have chosen to make a bonnet for her, as I had already been in touch with one of her Australian descendants, Peter Strauss, who contributed to this board. Any information about the other female convicts that Dee Newson or I can find will only add to our display at the Royal Manx. I was fascinated by the amount of detail you can find on the Australian site. Now, I even know Sarah's height , colour of eyes and hair etc. Thank you so much for posting the information of the free site. Marie
