Re: Clarke - Peel
In Response To: Clarke - Peel ()

Hello,
I haven't much to offer, only that my John Cashin married Elinor Clark on the 24th Jan 1801, in Patrick. He died in 1824 and in his will he mentions his wife and his house in Peel. There were 3 sons, John, William and Thomas and possible 3 doughters, although these are not mentioned in the will.
In 1841, Eleanor is 60 and a Labourer(!) living at the Green in Peel and she died aged 68 in 1847.

If you look on Family Search, you will find that there are quite a few Clarks, even a few Eleanor Clarks, so I'm not entirely sure whose daughter this one is.

Regards,
Jo Swadkin
