I have a little detail about our family tree
but my brother has a more detailed one.I will be speaking to him over Christmas.
Martyn S who replied is my first cousin.
Well here is a starter. John Strickett ( 1858/1936 ) Married Mary Emma Caley,
They had, William Cecil ( 1893/1895 )
John William Strickett, my grandfather, George Strickett(1888/1972) married Mary Cordelia Richmond. ( 12/11/? / died 1935. (George
remarried a Mcarthur.)
They had Clarence Strickett, who i know died only a few years ago in Chicago, Marion Kennedy )lives in Florida, & Edna, who died a good few years ago.
I have another note that Francis Richmond married Anne Quayle, who was Marion`s grandmother ?
I have met a lot of this side of the family, in the States, and they have visited the Island.
I showed them Pomeroy, in Richmond Road
and also visited Glen Auldyn where JWS was born. Martyn`s dad is Bernard Auldyn Strickett. Well, good starter.
