1st Dec & minus 20 degrees here in Sweden !! My query is - was it legal to 'slip through the net' on census day ? My grandmother is not on the 1911 census (genes reunited site) . Her name was Robena Kinvig & she was born in Rushen Parish 1882. She md James Kelly in 1914 so was still Kinvig in 1911. In 1901 she was 18 & in service in Castletown. Her husband was Cas born & bred so she was not overseas. I also went through the Kinvigs in L'pool area.
Where could she be included as living on IOM then ? thanks for any info ? K
