I shall just have to keep trying things as i have absolutely no info on Edith Blanche's future life except my Mum's(Marion Watson) birth certificate which does not mention her father. Mum was adopted but adoption agency (in Liverpool) is defunct and probably didn't have any more info as we have the adoption papers from Feb1924. Bucks Road in 1923 as residence of Edith Blanche, or 13 Mount Havelock as place of birth of Marion is the end of the line! Pity- Mum always wanted more info. Thanks for all you have done for me anyway- it has been such a help to find out something of my Manx background. All very much appreciated. Pat
