Yes! Thomas and Mary Mabel were my great grandparents. They had two daughters, Annie Mabel who died aged 18 and Mary Mona who was my grandmother. My father was Ted (Edward) Griffiths, her eldest child. He may have been the person you spoke to, but he also had 7 brothers (only 4 of the 8 now remain unfortunately). The others did emigrate to the USA as far as I'm aware. I'd be hugely grateful for any information you have.
