if correct then John was dead by 1851 as cath is a widowed washerwoman at 32 big well street (roughly today's Lord st) just around corner from Fancy St - she gives birth parish as Maughold but possibly bapt Ram 18090130 d/o thos christian + cath corlet (with her in 1851 a lodger unm Ann Skillicorn born ramsey age 39) - there is however a cath born 18108 in Maughold to Hugh/Ewan Christian but that family has a later cath so ?if the 1808 cath is dead by 1815
